A: Here at STRIVE we focus on socially mobile candidates. We often find that these students tend to come from non-selective state schools or other schools on means-tested funding, but everybody’s story is different, and we can’t wait to hear yours.

A: Our unique system of determining social mobility seeks to build a holistic picture of your background. We have found that asking ‘isolated’ questions about your schooling or upbringing without contextualising your responses can lead to candidates who need the most help being denied it.

A: We’re a UK-registered charity which provides free training to socially mobile candidates who are seeking opportunities to ultimately qualify as a solicitor in England & Wales in commercial law. We are not a recruitment agency although we do love to connect our students with appropriate opportunities if that’s what aligns with their career aspirations, but first and foremost we’re about upskilling socially mobile candidates to increase their employability at top commercial law firms.
